The Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate is intended to be used only where a minor alteration or addition has been made to an existing installation

The Periodic Inspection Report for an Electrical Installation is used to report on the safety condition of an existing installation.

It is a requirement to do so to meet British Standards! Failure can in effect give your insurance company a good reason not to pay in the event you have to make a claim Chris Whitmore Electrical have a maintenance plan to suit you at a realistic cost and we won't tie you in to a long term contract. Quite simply we ask you to sign a non binding 12 month contract instructing us to service your fire alarm equipment.
